Massive Product Placement
Massive has provided technology to allow product placement in games. Hollywood will love this!
For now, the Massive ads appear only on PC games that are connected to the internet. Eventually, the ads will work similarily to games played on consoles like Sony’s PS2 and Microsoft’s XBox, if they have internet connection. The internet link allows Massive’s software to refresh the ads as players progress through the game.
