Microsoft finally sheepishly admitted—after months and months of hedging—that the XBOX 360 will be somewhat backwards compatible. This is undoubtedly to counter today’s announcements that not only will the PS3 be fully backwards compatible (which everyone expected) with PS1 and PS2 titles, the Nintendo Revolution will be as well. You can't get any better than Nintendo's backwards compatibility. I'll buy it just for the fact that I can play all those old games. Who knows? I may not even buy any new games for it!
