Game Consoles Replacing PCs
Between game consoles and cell phones, PCs are becoming less and less relevant.
At the end of 2004, the installed base for consoles in the United States was approximately 90 million units (if we look at the cumulative sales of the Xbox, PS1, PS2 and Gamecube). The installed base of PCs in U.S. homes at the end of 2004 was approximately 110-120 million.
