MAME
Etymology for games? Or family trees for games? The Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator makes it possible to go back through the classic games and see their evolution.
Lately I’ve been messing around with MAME, an emulator for arcade games. Sometimes it’s actually more fun to play a series of games and watch it evolve from beginning to end. Like Space Invaders > Galaxian > Galaga Series. And the best part is that you have an infinite amount of quarters.
