Video Games: A Waste of Life?
A soon-to-be-father considers the importance of video games.
I love video games - they are a part of me. After all, I am a member of the gamerx generation. I remember spying my piano teacher’s son playing a spy strategy game on his Coleco Vision in the 80’s. Now my sights are set on the Sony PS3 at the same time I explore the wonderful world of PC online gaming. But am I wasting my time? Having the goal of making a difference in this world, am I using my time poorly? What implications do the answers to these questions have on my soon-to-arrive daughter?

Dude I am wondering the same thing. yet I am 16.. I Love games so much and people yelling at me when I play them pisses me off. My parents that is. I just want to play a game in peace one day. But anyway yeah they aren't productive in any way. They are just entertainment. But for me they help relieve stress and make life a little better =/
Its the same thing as watching a Movie for 2 hours. Playing a game for 2 hours is NO difference.
