The Best Mario Games Ever

games gamecube super mario A list of the ten best Mario Games ever.

Was the list what you expected? Did it encompass everything that is Mario? Well, no, not exactly. They seemed to have skipped out on all of the Mario sports games that have ever been created, from Mario Golf and Mario Tennis (I’m talking original Game Boy here, as well as more recent versions on the GameCube and DS) to Super Mario Strikers and Mario Hoops 3-on-3. And what about the original Donkey Kong? Super Paper Mario? Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix? Okay, that last one definitely doesn’t deserve to be on this list.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl

gamecube game super smash brother screen shot Super Smash Brothers' fans can use all the GameCube controllers/

Before, everyone thought that Super Smash Bros. Brawl would only be playable using the GameCube controller. And so, when it was finally confirmed that ALL kinds of Wii controllers would be supported, it posed some very interesting implications on the typical Smash Bros. gameplay that we’ve grown familiar with. However, this revelation is only the beginning, apparently.

Sony To Slash Playstation Prices

game playstation 3 announcement e3 Will Sony's PlayStation price cuts influence buyers?

We do own a Playstation, but to be honest I have always preferred Nintendo's gaming products over that of Sony. Therefore this news will not really affect my own purchasing.

XBox Red Ring of Death

games xbox error screen Xbox problems cost Microsoft a cool $1B.

Is it a plot by Sony or simply another glitch in a Microsoft design? We all grew accustomed to the Microsoft Windows “Blue Screen of Death” in the 80’s, 90’s, and 2000’s. Are we now going to accept the XBox 360 equivalent? At least Microsoft is acknowledging the error in their support site. Not only is Microsoft acknowledging it, the are reacting to it as well. In a move that will cost M$ over $1billion, they are extending the warranty on the 360 from 12 months to 3 years.
