Revolution's Controller

nintendo revolution super mario Click through for more details on the controller for the Revolution.

Reggie Fils-Aime, chief marketing officer of Nintendo America, has been singing praises to the Revolution’s controller, and why shouldn’t he? He works for the damn company. However he also stated that key third party developers have seen the mysterious controller and that they were very very excited about it.

Nintendo Vice President On Revolution

games nintendo tennis game Even though Nintendo got a lot less attention at E3 than Sony and Microsoft, they are making some very good, focused marketing moves:

This is a clever move by Nintendo: regardless of the final power of Revolution and the frequency of new titles, Nintendo knows that its loyal fans will cry tears of joy over a free service that lets them download previous Nintendo classics straight out of the box.

Bandai Supports Revolution

games bandai revolution nintendo Good news for Nintendo:

I’m tired of hearing about this and that developer getting behind the Playstation 3 or Xbox 360, truth is those publishers are most probably going to support both platforms since there will be a significant enough number of players to sell their games to. Support for Nintendo’s Revolution is pretty newsworthy though, and here’s one. Bandai has vocally expressed support for Nintendo’s as yet unrevealed Revolution (no that empty box they brought to E3 doesn’t count), so expect to see their famous franchises on Nintendo’s...

Revolution: 2007 For Europe?

nintendo revolution Still lots of questions about the exact timing of the new game console product launches.

In the past, Nintendo executives claimed that Revolution would debut before or at the same time as Sony’s PlayStation 3. But shortly after Sony indicated that PS3 could debut as early as March 2006 in some regions, Nintendo changed its tune, stating instead that Revolution would simply launch in 2006. This seems to indicate that a later debut is likely.

The Next Generation

games nintendo revolution contoller A good comparison of the new game consoles here:

It will come as no surprise to regular readers that the Nintendo Revolution is the one I have my eye on. I was going to write an article on each console giving my first impressions of their designs, but decided it wasn’t really justified; all three are much of a muchness, frankly. The Xbox 360, though a clear improvement on the design disgrace of its predecessor is still aiming itself squarely at the hardcore online gamer and has a launch title list comprised mostly of sequels and other assorted tedium. The Playstation 3 appears to be another...
